This is a translation for convenience. The Dutch version is legally binding.
1. Who we are
These terms apply to all quotes, orders and agreements of AQWebIT, based in De Meern, the Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 76114279 ("AQWebIT", "I"). "Client" or "you" is anyone who uses a service from AQWebIT.
2. Quotes and agreement
A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An agreement is made as soon as you place an order in the client portal (my.aqwebit.com) or accept a quote in writing or by email.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are in euros. AQWebIT uses the Dutch small business scheme (KOR) and does not charge VAT; listed prices are final prices. Prices may change; a price change for a running subscription is announced at least 30 days in advance and applies from the next period.
4. Payment
Subscriptions and strip cards are paid in advance through the client portal. Project invoices are due within 14 days, unless agreed otherwise. For projects I may ask for a deposit. If you do not pay on time I send a reminder; if payment still does not follow, I may suspend services until the amount is paid.
5. Term and cancellation
Hosting and other subscriptions run per chosen period (month or year) and renew automatically. You can cancel until the end of the current period, through the client portal or by email. Periods already paid are not refunded.
Google Workspace licences are taken per year. A yearly licence cannot be ended or refunded mid-term.
6. Domain names
Domain names are also subject to the rules of the relevant registry (such as SIDN for .nl). You are responsible for choosing your domain name and for its use. A domain is renewed as long as your subscription runs. If you want to transfer your domain, I release the transfer code once all outstanding invoices are paid.
7. Strip card
A strip card is paid in advance. One strip equals 30 minutes of work; time is deducted in 30-minute blocks. You see your balance and usage in the client portal. Purchased strips are not refunded.
8. Websites and projects
A website project includes one revision round, unless agreed otherwise. Further changes run on the strip card or an additional quote. You supply texts, images and data, and make sure you are allowed to use them.
After full payment the website is yours. Themes, plugins and other software used remain under their own licences.
9. Hosting and availability
I do my best to keep your site and services available, aiming for 99.9% availability. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Backups are made according to your plan; they are a safety net, not a guarantee that all data can always be restored.
10. What I expect from you
You do not use the services for illegal purposes, spam, or content that infringes the rights of others. You keep your login details secret. In case of misuse I may block the service.
11. Liability
My liability is limited to direct damage and to at most the amount you paid AQWebIT for the service concerned in the 6 months before the damage. I am not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or lost data, or for outages at suppliers I have no control over.

How I handle personal data is described in the privacy statement.
13. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Midden-Nederland district.
